Taking care of a grapevine?

I moved into a house with a grapevine on the sunny side of the building last autumn so this summer is the first time looking after the vine. It seems there’s a lot of grapes growing – maybe 80-100 bunches in total? They’re all pretty small and green still. I’ve never been into gardening but this grape vine has caught my interest! The RHS website says they need regular pruning, fruit thinning etc and I’m not sure how to begin. Also my wife has an allotment with a greenhouse and poly tunnel so could any part of the vine be propagated to grow there too?

Grapes like lots of water and are susceptible to powdery mildew. There is a diluted vinegar solution available on the internet to rid of this problem.

You can shorten some of the lead vines back to within a leaf of the fruit.
Mine likes a sprinkle of seaweed meal and a spade of compost.
BUT I was away for 3 months last year and returned to scores of handsome fruit and I hadn’t pruned shit. So 🤷🏽😁

I look after a grapevine in a polytunnel. The advice (on line but can’t find now) I have been following tells to remove all shoots and leave two main branches so main growth is in grapes not leaves. Lots of grapes growing looks great but too many means smaller grapes so I just leave a few on the main two branches. Also I give a bucket of water once a week, maybe twice in hot weather. Not an expert though, and guess depends on type of grape? Good fun growing, really enjoy mine.
