Airplant

T. Ionantha turning Maroon

Hi everyone! I got a T. Ionantha about a month ago. This is my first time taking care of air plants, though I have experience caring for other kinds of plants.

My air plant was initially pink when I received it (first photo), and now it has a maroon color (second photo). I know there are many varieties of T Ionantha. I don't know the exact type I received so I don't know if this is normal coloring or a sign that it is getting too much light/not enough water.

Help is appreciated!
