I have a front yard with 2 sections of hedges(both planted at the same time with the same premium garden soil and the same compost). One row of hedges has grown beautifully the other didnt grow at all. Upon digging them out to plant new hedges (murraya panniculata) i have found black soil with white sediments and it stinks like poop. What should i do before planting the new hedges?
