I bought an elephant ear plant in 2018, last winter it was getting so big that I decided to try over wintering it by chopping the leaves and roots off, and storing it in a box indoors as a bulb/corm. I had a backup so it didn’t feel too reckless
It’s taken 3 months to get to this stage, I thought I had killed it.
The stump is the original plant, pup is in the second picture.

I wonder if this is two new plants growing as the leaves are quite far apart
