What recommendations do you have for my pilea peperomioides? I grew the plant from a baby and haven’t touched it for 2 years out of fear. I’m now ready to give it a haircut so it can feel better.

Trim yellowing or dead leaves close to the base. Prune back long stems just above leaf nodes to encourage bushier growth. If it’s tall, prune the main stem to promote new shoots. Avoid over-pruning to prevent stress. Ensure adequate light, water, and occasional fertilization after pruning for optimal health.

Try repotting it to a bigger jar etc. It looks like you take good care of it because it’s grown so much but it might need more space.

I am still dumbfounded that people achieve this with pilea and the 2 year old plant I have currently sports 4 leaves.

Wow! This plant is wonderful! I have my own pilea we call Pancake! I’m hoping to grow him to this size!
