Dying chickens

Me and my wife have a few dozen chickens, mainly for eggs. We have them in all ages and sizes. The problem we have been dealing with for a while is that some of these are suddenly getting sick and dying a few weeks later, all with the same symptoms. They start out as if they have vitamin deficiency(weak legs, trouble walking and staying up) but they still eat and drink. As the days pass they gradually get worse until they can’t even hold their head up anymore and their necks get all twisted. They are all skinny and bony once the symptoms start even though they do eat and drink. After a few days they will have what appears to be some kind seizure when they eat and drink. Their legs will not work and they face forward every time. We’ve tried giving them Rooster Booster, the Emergency 911 powder in their waters, they get clean water and fresh feed every day. This happens to several chickens, including teenage ones. It has happened to several ones over the last year and we need some help trying to figure out what we need to do to stop this from happening. And advice would be appreciated.

P.S. the rooster in the photo has had the symptoms for about a week so he still has some strength in his neck. He is only about 5 months old.

You need to get a necropsy done. Check with state dept of ag labs, and state universities. In my state they are very cheap.
