I am so inspired by everything I saw and heard last week, the images and words have brought me to tears. It was life a changing moment that we needed and an opportunity to be better and do better as a society.
As I’m excited to be sharing my art again with you this week, while continuing my business and providing for my family, I won’t stop sharing the art of the BIPOC community and standing behind BLM. I really enjoyed highlighting others this past week. Shares from others are the reason my account is what it is today and the reason I get to do what I love. We must pave the way for others and be selfless in our acts in all facets of our lives. Also, thank you for donating to @blackwomeninvisualart yesterday. I was amazed to see they themselves raised $2,000 past their goal.
For the video above, I’m printing Monstera adansonii in Caligo black oil ink. The awesome @printfrog1 glass baren was recommended to me by @isprojects , it is amazing for hand printing on delicate paper.
Two new prints are just finishing their drying process and will be available on my site tomorrow at 12pm. They are sisters to my “Polka Dots” print. I’ve got the Monstera adansonii and I’ll surprise you with the other one tomorrow!
