My century house has one with the vents covered and I'm thinking about opening it up to use but can't find any information online about modern day use.
Do you have one? If so what type of climate are you in? How well does it work? What do you use it for (cans, curing/storing root veggies, something else)?
Just hoping to get some modern perspective to see if it fits my use case since I'll have to rebuild the vents on mine. Thanks!
