I have this lavender out in the front yard and the center of it seems to be getting burnt out. It gets about 4-5 hours of direct sun, usually mid-afternoon but not too late into the hottest hours. I water it infrequently, maybe every week or so, and make sure to drench it rather than shower it so that the water gets down to the roots. Is it just the heat?
