I am really new to propagation in general – I keep reading how the offshoots for the spider plant are supposed to grow roots before cutting. Is this always the case? It’s been a month and a half and she has grown 4 different stems of baby spiders, none have grown roots of their own. I thought about just cutting at the base where the stem meets the mini spider but not sure if it will change anything if it has no roots? I want to move them to soil asap just because my cat keeps eyeing them as a snack – any advice is much appreciated! Thanks 😊
