Did I pull this carrot too early?

I knew planting carrots was a risk as I’ve never done them before and knew they were difficult. The tops of the carrots starting poking out the soil and the leaves have started to droop. But I don’t know if I did this too early? I planted them maybe end of May… I think? Not via seed, but by the seedling packs from B&Q

The longer you leave them the bigger they grow as there is more time for the plant to photosynthesise and store the energy in the root. Best to pull in autumn when they’ve grown more but before they have a chance to rot

It will be edible just a bit small

Yes, you could have left it in and it would have grown more, but personally I pull them at this size because they taste better. Enjoy!
