I got an excessive amount of grass clippings in my lawn from mowing and I heard that when they dry out they can become good browns. With these be considered dry enough for browns or do I have to let them bake in the sun a little bit longer?

Dried grass is green.
Greens are greens. Wet or dry.
More baking, and spreading maybe? Even those little tufts are probably slimey (green) breaking down already underneath.
