Some keep trying to sprout new growth out of good leaves. This results in me cutting the growth and the leaf off. How can I redirect it to the scion.
Question 2: in image 3 this one is just getting old and wrinkly and hasn’t done anything at all in a few months. What does it need?

If it’s not doing anything it means it’s getting enough residual moisture from the host to not die but the cambial layer didn’t attach if it hasn’t grown, in my experience I just start over. You’re patient to have waited this long!
Only cut the new branch/red tip off.

Have to clip the new branches as soon as possilbe also
You don’t have to cut the whole leaf, just twist off the new growth. It will eventually push that energy to the scion
