Is this Chinese evergreen ready for soil yet? (Its been in water for 3 months)


Just curious if I should wait longer or go for it?

    I’m not familiar with the species but in general once you see healthy root growth you can make that switch to soil anytime since the plant now has the means to start absorbing nutrients from the soil.

    Looks like you could go ahead, usually wait until it’s an inch or two (from what I know in general waiting for secondary roots is less important than minimizing the time it takes to transition from water to soil. Just be sure for the first few weeks to keep soil on the moist side while the roots adjust.

    Looks pretty good to me. I’d say like a 2-3” pot from what I can tell in the picture
