I would just put it wherever you think it will fit in your house and let it adjust to the new environment for a week or two! If it starts dropping leaves or turning brown / sad looking then I’d consider more light or a repot!

Depending on the conditions it was in, I would estimate it being at they very least 3-5 years old.
