Baby parlor palm question!

Hello!
I’m new here and honestly, pretty new to plants as well! I’m a reptile hobbyist who is just getting into plants, and it’s so exciting! But I am overthinking EVERYTHING 😅.

For starters, I recently purchased two small parlor palms that arrived about 5-7” tall in 4” plastic pots.

I’m wondering if I should repot them into something larger? I know they’re going to grow a LOT and I read these don’t like to be repotted often, so I really want to make sure I do the right thing for them! They’re so cute!

Any tips are greatly appreciated! I’ve actually never even posted to Reddit before either so go easy on me!

Thanks!

Parlor Palms grow SLOW. Really slow. A pothos plant will have tripled in size by the time a Parlor Palm had any semblance of true growth (about 15% compared to pothos’ growth from my perspective).

I have two and I got them BECAUSE I wanted slower growing plants for my limited space.

Leave your palm be for a while. My oldest one (about four years old) started like yours and is still roughly the same size.
