    Those aphids are katy-done for!

    I think katydids are omnivores, a trait they share with some of the lesser species like H. Sapiens. So yes they can eat some aphids opportunistically.

    Even if they do, you can help it out by spraying the plant down with a strong jet of water to remove the aphids that are already there.
