Carnivorous Plants

Drosera Tokaiensis suddenly dewless

One plant suddenly stopped making dew. I cut off the flowers in case it was spending too much energy blooming. The next day its pot-mate did the same thing.

Google implies this is usually caused by lack of light or water, but they're in a windowsill supplemented by a 16 hour grow light and usually sitting in a tray of water. My apartment is air conditioned so the temperature hasn't changed significantly. They've been in these conditions for a while and seemed to be happy until now.

The only thing I can think of that might be related is the tray had an algae problem, so I sprayed a little bit of 3% hydrogen peroxide in it. Nothing I'd expect to cause a problem.

The yellow flakes you see are pollen from the dill plant a shelf below. It decided to grow towards the grow light.
