for the first time in ages I wake up and don’t hate it I guess I found some peace through the day to the evening without shouting and [Music] screaming without [Music] lonely good morning guys welcome back or welcome if you’re new here my name is Megan and I have been on a journey recently trying to get my yard and the outside of my house like summer ready and so recently we power washed basically everything our backyard patio like rugs and Furniture our front porch furniture the actual front steps and front walkway and then by the end of it I was just so tired that I just left everything exactly where it was my neighbors are probably so annoyed because we just left all of our front porch furniture and front step Decor right here in the front yard and it’s been a few days so we need to get that reset back over here but the steps in this front walkway are looking so good so clean and then as you get over to the driveway you can really see the difference I do have it on my to-do list to try to clean up up and pressure wash the whole driveway today but I just don’t want to do it when the sun is at the hottest point so during the middle of the day and early afternoon instead I think what I’m going to do is start by doing some front yard and backyard cleanup reset everything that we took out of place and just clear off the driveway so that it’s ready to be pressure washed When the Sun starts to go down and it cools off a little for the day and I think first I’m just going to reset our front step and also the front porch area and kind of work my way around from [Music] there million times I have seen that baby I can treat you right and you can prove me wrong turn around me going turn around now baby you think you’re special like the other something to discover think you little fun but I I have seen my face more than a million times think I know by now that I can be the one if that is what I want your days are G you have your little fun and now I’ll make your dreams [Music] all okay I have the front porch and front step all reset and I’m actually going to take a break at my house which it’s perfect timing because the sun is kind of moving over to right where I would need to be now next so I’m going to take a break from my house and head over to the Airbnb that Derrick and I help to manage I’ve actually filmed I think at least one but a couple of videos over there I’ll leave them in the iard or like Linked In the description box in case you’re interested I know that I have like a full house tour some house projects when we were getting it ready and then I also did a bathroom makeover over there that turned out really good it was so fun but anyway we have to do a turnover for the next guest and that includes cleaning up the backyard they have a beautiful huge backyard with a swimming pool and so we always make sure that that’s all straight and then we also clean the pool so I figured I’d show you what we do there this is actually a great time to introduce today’s sponsor AER sent me their scuba S1 Pro robotic pool cleaner and and it’s so funny because we actually already Ed this brand to clean the pool we have one of their other models over here is the APR seagull SE model and that’s the one that we’ve been using since the start of full season to clean the pool after every guest and before the new ones and it works so well it comparison so clearly the seagull SE is more petite than the scuba S1 Pro so the seagull actually has scrub brushes on the bottom here and then the entire thing opens up to be able to empty the filter but with this scuba S1 Pro it has larger scrub brushes and these ones are actually Rolling Rubber brushes on both the front and the back and then to empty the filter it’s actually right here on the top which is incredibly convenient because then the larger filter just pulls out right here and as you can see it is very large it can capture any dirt or debris that you have in your pool and then there is an ultra fine filter that could be pulled out and rinsed in between uses in order to prevent de rebuild up in your machine and in your pool they are both cordless and rechargeable and then you just push a button to start them and then they are self cleaning in the pool so I am going to let this bad boy get fully charged and then we’re going to take it outside I’m going to show you what the pool is looking like it is in desperate need of a good clean and we’ll get him in the water and see how he works so once I had the scuba S1 Pro completely charged I’m going to bring it outside and show you an overview of the pool that we’re working in the size and scale and also how dirty it was we had done a chemical treatment the day before and so that caused all the dirt and debris to kind of coagulate together so I’m just going to turn on the scuba S1 Pro and this will automatically engage the auto mode which is the default mode of this machine however there is a panel on the top where you can control what type of cleaning you are needing for specific situations and change it that way but anyway in the auto mode it is going to clean the sides of the pool and the water line first and then it will go around the entire pool or when the battery is at 50% of its charge then it will automatically switch over to cleaning the bottom of the pool you can also leave this submerged in the water with a full charge and it will be sure to clean your pool for up to a week on an automated schedule to ensure that you are swimming in the cleanest pool possible which I just think is really cool and convenient because if you’ve ever owned a pool before you know that keeping up with the maintenance of it can be very overwhelming and often feel like it’s not even worth it so having this be completely self automated and self-sufficient a set it and forget it kind of mentality is invaluable to Pool owners you are then able to spend more time having fun and enjoying your pool and less time feeling like you are working to maintain your space but once it has exhausted its battery life the scuba S1 Pro will automatically dock to the side of the pool you can remove it using the included pool hook and then also make sure to rinse your filters I would suggest that you do this every single time you are bringing it out of the water just to make sure that you are maintaining your machine and allowing it to work as efficiently as possible for its entire lifetime you’ll also want to make sure that you allow it to completely drain of all water before storing it away inside and make sure this week I think our new patio covering I’ve been doing so much research trying to figure out how to make this a covered space and I ordered a couple of products that I’m really excited about but that should be coming in this week and so we’re going to do a whole makeover here so it didn’t make sense for me to like set everything up really nice and put the rugs down and all of that just to have to like take everything off and roll them back up again in a few days when we start working on the patio I do think that we’re also going to try getting some of that I think you guys keep saying it’s poly meric or polymetric or some kind of sand to sweep in between the patio pavers I thought that we did that when we laid the patio it’s been like 4 years now and I remember so much sand to level and also to put in between but maybe we didn’t because we get so many weeds that grow in and every time I show the patio and me pulling the weeds you guys say you need to like sweep this sand and then you wet it and it kind of solidifies and prevents the weeds from growing up so I think we’re going to do that we’re going to set up the patio covering and just put out all the furniture r decorate it in a video coming very soon and then we can actually use it for the summer so I’m really excited about that but now I’m going to start preing the driveway there are so many weeds talking about weeds in the cracks of the driveway and I was thinking that I would pressure wash first and then they would get wet and be easy to pull but Derrick said he thinks I should do it the opposite way and pull off the weeds first and then start pressure washing so I’m going to try it his way and see if it works out so would be great I move on I’ll be just fun I will let go my broken heart is beeding so tonight I will be leaving and I got this great feeling that someday I’ll be okay [Music] say what you want to say to me I just want you to leave so I can get you my mind we just weren meant to be I’m glad you set me I think I saw a caterpillar crawling over here right here is that a caterpillar or what kind of bug is that crawls around like a caterpillar but I thought those are supposed to be in a cocoon [Laughter] Derek dereck’s out here to help me because these weeds are hard to pull they’re really deep in there and he’s got all his tools out his screwdriver and he brought out these pliers to try to get where’s the root that you were getting with the pliers so while he works on that I’m actually going to install some Solar Pathway lights I figured I should go ahead and do it now so that they can kind of charge up before the evening time so a couple videos back I had done our front landscaping and I added some Pathway lights and some solar spotlights and I loved them so much that I wanted to continue it down this side landscaping and our driveway but I had run out of the pathway light so I went ahead and ordered another pack and they came in so I’m going to go ahead and get those set up now when you first set them up they do need to be out and direct sun for a certain amount of hours so that they can fully charge and then they’ll start working right away for you and so I figured now is as good a time as any to make sure that we get enough sunlight on these that they’ll work this evening so I’m just going to I think put like four or five of them down this way that or wish me luck that I can get this done in an hour and a half I don’t know if I’m going to be able to but I am going to try because I don’t want this to be carrying into another day or days from Burks today but I got about half of the driveway completed so far it is 88:18 right now so I don’t think I’m going to be able to get the other half of the driveway done in the next 14 minutes until sunset but but I’m happy with the progress I feel like this is a good stopping point and I’m just going to go ahead and wrap up this project Derrick told me that he would finish the other half of the driveway for me tomorrow if I didn’t make him film it and so I feel like that’s a fair tradeoff I will go ahead and end this video here and then accept the help for tomorrow when he has time so anyway I hope that what I was able to accomplish today it was still really fun and motivating for you cleaning up in the front and backyard and just pressure washing half of the driveway and checking off a
