I notched my FLF in Nov ‘22. I got growth in Oct ‘23. The growth was weak. By the end of the year, I cut it off without much thought.
In Feb ‘24 it started to grow with better, stronger looking leaves. It looks awkward. This growth is 6-7 inches below the rest of the plant. But the leaves look great. I’m leaving it. See pics.

BTW, my plant is roughly 5’3” /161 cm. The original pot was 12-13 inches. I repotted to 16 inches in diameter this year.
