The most hated tower on the hydroponic subreddit

Well here it is, the tower that so many people told me wasn't going to be possible to make. Just got my seeds in the mail a few days ago as well as my rock wool, about to start propagating my seeds. Completely sturdy, well constructed and probably way past the ability of all the people who hated on my last post LOL. Complete with solar power system, with a 50 amp hour battery and automatic pump timer. Just need to get my nutrients going, and set my pump in place permanently. I've done numerous hours of test runs and ran this pump for over 12 hours at a time and it has no problem so far, still looking to upgrade to a bit larger of a pump because it is only a small half amp pump and I'm not sure about total reliability. It was an Amazon pump that came in a two pack for $15 so I'm not sure that the quality is going to be top notch. If anybody has any suggestions for pump brands please let me know.

way to prove the haters wrong….by assembling equipment in your garage?

boring bro, this is just boring.

What are you talking about? This diy build has been around for a long time, has several how to videos and isn’t hard to make at all. All you need is pvc pipe and a heat gun.

Good job OP. What I like about hydroponics is that it’s accessible for anyone to build something and try to make it work. Building something from scratch like this let’s you see exactly what does and doesn’t work. Good luck playing with this, looking forward to seeing how it works out for you

  4. Everyone in the previous thread suggested that peppers won’t do well in towers because their root structure is too dense.

Congratulations on finishing your tower where peppers still won’t do well because their root structure and grower are too dense.

There’s ALWAYS someone that has to be an asshole! Go back under the hole you crawled out from under!
Nice build OP….. look forward to seeing your progress growing!
