What a beautiful place. Keep that little thing well-fed and watered, a bit of your father is in it. I lost my mom (same age, same time – to cancer, fuck that shitty sickness to fucking hell!) and we put her ashes in the lake where we used to go camping when I was a kid. Every time I go back there I talk to my mom, knowing that she is all around me. I usually tell her how it’s going with my and the rest of the family, and then I cry a lot and tell her how much I miss her and how much I still love her.
