My turkey hasn’t walked on that left leg for about 5 days now. Can you tell anything by looking at this picture? Any help would be appreciated

Do you have them in the same pen or area as chickens, I heard if it’s to small of a space or they tend to just stay around them, they can get fugies and growths from the feces

Soak the foot in a strong salt water solution for about a week. You could clean the area with an old tooth brush.

Could be bumble foot. Vetericyn spray applied topically for a couple days may help.

Looks infected with some fluid buildup. Id consult a vet.

Check if it bumbelfoot. I have chickens. Usually on the bottom of the foot if you see a black spot in center of the claw on middle part of the foot. You have soak in episom salt and water otherwise bird surgery find a aviary hospital that specializes in birds. Regular vet only do cats, dogs, rabbits and normal critters. Otherwise it could be where leg could be injured from falling wierd where landing. Just look up on google first aid for turkeys and go to the vet.hopefully it nothing serious

I’d definitely get the opinion of a vet. It looks like the turkey may have stepped on something and whatever it was may have caused some sort of infection.

Bumblefoot presents with what looks like a coffee bean growth on the foot, IME.

I recently took in a turkey and learned that they can reach their mouth to their foot. Mine had a small injury on her foot but she kept picking at the scab and made it WAY worse.

Try an antibiotic ointment on the foot, then use a piece of gauze and wrap it with that athletic tape that sticks to itself. Not too tight, and go partway up the leg so that she can’t grab the end and tear it off. If necessary, rest her for a day or two.

Edited to add: Wash the foot first.

Bumble foot. Not an issue if you plan on eating the turkey. More common than not.

If you want to keep it for breeding or a pet, search Bumble foot. Tons of recommendations, few actually work because even if you cute it, they get it again.
