Moss Pole Replacement…

My Philodendron Atabapoense is growing nicely into a moss pole that I keep consistently watered. No damage on the plant; it's healthy and happy, but I noticed thrips on my alocacia next to it.
I think the moss pole is the source. 🤢🤢

What can I give my Atab to climb instead that will keep it happy? I'm pretty sure those white things are thrip larvae and I need to get rid of that pole!

They could be springtails which are harmless, but don’t quote me on that

They very well could be springtail. How do they move? Are they fast and jumpy? Or slow and wormy?
