Plant Propagation

I made a mistake

So I had to prop my Thai yesterday due to yup you guessed I love her to much and she got the rot so maybe the reason why this leaf won't do anything just sit a little limp but I walked past her and found she is trying to push a leaf I didn't see this or I would have waited what have done

I feel your pain. I recently got a billietae from a friend, and she had to cut a piece of hers. It was pretty dramatic. She potted it up for me (after being in water, but it has a good root system) and I watered it once, and it rotted a bit. I did my best to treat it and put it back into water, so that I can watch the roots more closely. But the smaller leaf is pretty yellow and I feel terrible. But I guess it could’ve happened to anyone. This kinda thing happens sometimes, I don’t have root rot probs anymore (knock on wood), and it hurts me with this one.

Sorry, prob not overly helpful, but I wanted to share my experience and let you know that you’re not the only one. 🙂

It will be fine eventually. It will probably just put the leaf on hold to grw roots. You’ll know it’s hit a good point when the leaf starts growing again 😁
