I bought this plant about a year ago. I pruned it a month ago at which point I could still see new growth I only pruned above the nodes where it was growing . Did I prune too much ? It was already looking yellowish which I why I decided to prune so I could get new growth . Is there a way to save this plant ? Thanks in advance.

To me it looks like it was overwatered, got root rot, then died.
Toss it on the smoker next time you fire it up. Plant a new rosemary.
