First Year of Blueberries after 3 Years of Care!

Our blueberry finally gave us fruit this year in its third year after planting. I've kept it in a pot to more easily manage soil acidity. It's rewarding to have the work finally pay off. We will probably make blueberry muffins.

Wow!!! What did you need to do in those 3 years to finally get them to this point?

I just got mine- he’s only 2 feet tall with no flowers in sight. I’ve had him 3 weeks and used Berrytone to help with acidity.

Is this a case where they take a few years to produce?

I have homemade blueberry crisp on my counter. Between yesterday and today, I picked 6 cups worth, and they just started. However, it seems that a bird has already discovered them. I have three mature bushes in my backyard.

Your young bush looks healthy and your fruit are such a deep blue. Good job!

How do you get a blueberry plant..”In the mood”??

I had this pear tree that could go years without bearing fruit. Is it similar?
