I bought this Tiltop grow system on sale. My first grow system.
It has a see through top. Will it be okay? My research says the light could produce algae and hurts roots.
It has a pump that runs on a 1 hour cycle with 30 minutes of work then 30 minutes of rest

Yes it should not let any light in or you’ll get lots of algae issues.
I also hope you have plans for transplanting everything but the dill within the next few weeks. That thing doesn’t have the capacity in any way to support a full size pepper or tomato.
