Plant Propagation

What is on my roots? Good or bad?

There is the "film" on these little roots. I've looked for answers but I'm seeing it's either bacteria or part of the roots.

The first photo: It's a marble Peperomia that is water propagated. I just started water propagating so I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

I got him about 2 weeks ago. He was originally in some tap water when I brought him home. Then the other day I got some distilled water so I switched out the water. He's had this film on there since before I switched the water. He's grown this much in the two weeks I've had him. (He was a fresh cutting) I did try rinsing him under water also and gently wiping it off, I'm afraid to be too rough, but I couldn't get anything off.

Second photo: I have a marble queen pothos that is also looks like she's starting to get a bit of film around her roots? (She is flourishing in the water though) Pretty much the same situation with her. Though I've had her a little longer. She was part of a bigger pothos that I have potted, but wanted to try my hand at water propagating.

What do you think?

That fuzzy thing is completely normal, actually avoid touching it because that thing (I don’t remember that name) is what helps the roots absorb nutrients.
