Garden was 90% moss, Customer asked for a lawn rebuild.
So I nuked it. Laid down 9-7-7 pre seed fertiliser and dwarf ryegrass seed, then covered with composted topsoil.
End result could be better, couple patches where the seed didn't take for one reason or another. Going to give it a month and rake in a little more seed.

Would raking in new seed be more beneficial in Autumn coz of how hot it is now? I am in the same situation as you and not sure if I should commit to watering my ass off for new seed or wait till autumn
