Driving from Golden CO to Boulder CO and I saw this guy with a bunch of bonsai set up on the side of the road, he was super awesome and I decided to snag this little guy for 30 bucks!
I think the same guy must travel because I picked one up in Tennessee

Tale as old as time. For future reference, don’t buy these. $30 is an absolute ripoff for a 2-3 y/o rooted juniper cutting. They don’t even use bonsai soil even though it’s in a shallow container
You can get a juniper (procumbens nana, same as this) that’s 2-3x bigger for half the price at your local landscape nursery. It’s vastly better material for beginners than these
