Hello and thanks in advance for any help! I found this cactus thingy on the nursery floor and they said I could take it, and my neighbor gave me this monstera cutting the same day. Can I turn the monstera into two props or does it need to stay as one? And it’s calloused for a little over 24 hours at this point so can I go ahead and pop it in water? As for the cactus thingy, that needs to lay on top of soil as far as I’ve gathered but any general advice for that one? Keep a lid on the box? Succulent soil okay (I have perlite and orchid bark I can add too)?
Mostly I want tips for the monstera because I’d love to make a gorgeous full plant out of it at some point!
