Arboriculture

Some photos to help solve the mystery

With the advice of this group I put some samples together here and sent them over to MSU today. Hopefully I can get some answers about why my cedars are dying. I'm very worried that they won't recover. No sign of fungus. Sign of pests. Here's some more pictures. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas of what this could be. Also, I sent in a soil sample as well. So far I've called one local well known arborist who has come to look at the tree twice Tomorrow I have the Save A Tree coming so I can get a second opinion.

Cedar s don’t grow that big and softwoods don’t regenerate as well as other trees
