Is this too hot, for the worms?

I know heat is one of the the Holy Grails of composting. But, how hot is too hot for the day labors of the natural world. I put 500 red wigglers in there in March and I turned it 2 weeks ago and there were large clumps of worms with every shovel full, maybe multiple thousands. 2 weeks ago it was around 120f. Now we're around 140f. Will the worms survive.

…bin is 40 inx40 in x40 in, open air slated all the way around.
