Euphorbiaceae

Happy with a lot of new growth, but it’s all on one side

My guy’s been growing a bunch and I’m excited about it, but it’s starting to tilt. The arm of the side not growing has a weird pinched look to it, and hasn’t changed since I got it. The small arms at the bottom also haven’t grown and look the same.

Is there anything specific I should do? Can I just put a stick in there and tie it to give it support? Never done that before and don’t know the best way to go about it. Is there anything I can do to help it grow on the other side, like cut off a little and hope new growth sprouts? I don’t know how plants work

  1. If it’s growing near a window or other directional light source, sometimes the side facing the light will branch more readily (trying to capture more light on the side with access to that resource). Generally high-white variegates are slow growers, though, since they don’t have a lot of chlorophyll available to do the work. They also go slow or dormant in colder weather. Give it light, heat, and appropriate amount of water for best activity during the summer season.
