Plant Propagation

My 1 month chilli cutting has developed a flower and roots. Should it be potted?

I cut a branch from small chilli tree (with leaves and some fruits), soaked in a cup with water and pretty much leave untouched at the outside, with some sunlight. No wilted and dried leaves, which is a good thing and I exchanged the water after 2 weeks. A month later, I noticed it started to bloom a flower and short roots have appeared too. With this state, should I just keep it in water for more or is it time to pot in a soil? I hope I can have it planted but I am not sure what will be the best time for it since this is my first time propagate chilli tree.

Hmm. I’m not sure if this is a good time to transition it to soil, but it seems like you would want remove any flowers and fruit until it is well eatablished in soil so it’s not wasting energy and can focus on surviving.
