Carnivorous Plants

Drosera rotundifolia smashed

Hi all!

Today I have received a package containing a drosera rotundifolia that I bought online. However, it seems that it was smashed at some point during the trip. Despite that, the plants looks healthy. Today has also been an unusually hot day and we have reached 30 degrees. I cannot see any of the sticky water dots either.

Hope it won't have any problem to recover?

Given proper care it will 100% recover. D rotundifolia is one of the hardiest and most widespread carnivorous plants in the world.

The lack of dew is probably due to acclimation, you may see some leaves die off but as long as it is older leaves and not the new growth all is well.
