Is that shelf at a sharp downward angle, or is it just a crazy camera angle? Either way it made me nervous lol. Nice tree though!

With the “lightening strike” right down the middle of the trunk, it make it look very symmetrical. I wonder how it would look if you rotated the tree a bit to the left?
