I recently purchased this plant from a nursery and observed this webbing only later 🙁 Are these spider mite webs? I have also been observing a lot of yellowing leaves but I don't know if it's because it's newly in my care or a result of spider mites.

If you notice webs, you’d notice damage. There is no yellow spots, and those webs are not nearly silky enough. They make very tight webs that almost look like blankets.
Just spiders.
