  2. I like the Murphy bed idea! I think that would really work so you can have a living room space also. 👍🇨🇦

  3. Hungryroot sounds good, I may really consider it. Great Ad..
Also I like the suggestions you made regarding full time, especially a Murphy bed/couch. I like wallpaper – but that peach coral color is awful. Glad they were able to match things with it though.
Yes overhead storage, more lights, under bed tuck away stuff. 🥶🖤🔔👍🏻🥰

  4. 16 x 22 is about the footprint of a two car garage, which is normally 20 x 20

Also, can we be honest about the kitchen? It’s a fine size but it looks pretty bad.

  5. Feet. Not foot. Anything more than 1 foot is feet. Much more when it is, for example, 16 feet x 13 feet equals _ square feet.

  6. Hi guys👋,
I love the kitchen and bed , but in the middle it needs something warm👍.
    Nice to see yah.
    JO JO IN VT 💞

  7. Very cute place 😊 Needs a bigger kitchen window and a low, long, double-sided bookshelf to divide off the bedroom and kitchen visually, while adding storage space.

  8. Could the built in Wardrobe be taller for long term storage?, built in medicine cabinet where the bathroom mirror is (yes I know there is one already)Also the small coffee table could have storage underneath

  9. ❤❤❤ This Is super cute 🥰 😅🎉, I have always loved the idea of ADUs.
Thank you so much for another great tour Alexis and Christian!

  10. I love this tiny home. I have a washer dryer combo, and it doesn't take that much longer than a separate washer & dryer. Plus, you don't have to unload one and load another, making it more convenient. It saves space. I love the orange. I think I would do the extra shelves in the closet, under bed storage, change the fridge to open into the area, and maybe put a dividing piece between the bed and the entryway.

  11. Super! YES on plenty of hooks, places to set things down, and two luggage rackS—one for each of us. These items are far too often missing in rentals, something I just can’t fathom. Thanks for the tour! I always love the way you speak, with clear breaks between the points you (also) make so clearly.

  12. Agree the entry wall needs more storage for fulltime living.
What I like the most about most tiny houses is a loft. Proper stairway with railing. Maybe just for storage and sitting.
    Love your closet ideas-stackable machines.
    Beautiful house and yard🤗👍👍

  13. It's an awkwardly laid out plan. The first thing you see walking in is the bed.
Better to have the kitchen closer to the door for unloading groceries.
A bigger porch is important as adjunct living space. It's a missed opportunity.

Like a lot of the house though.

  14. I really like this one, but when I saw that bed, I immediately thought a Murphy bed would be better! Love all your ideas! Thanks 🩷

  15. Christian, you ROCK for offering to reverse people's refrigerator doors for them!!! 😄❤👏👏👏 Improvements to Airbnbs for full time living is a great idea—would love to see more of these! This is very nice as-is, and I also love your brainstorming! Having a blackout option for windows is appreciated, but adding a filtered white option too is my top pick for making a massive difference to this place immediately. 🌞 Also a big yes to added storage & a couch, and I agree with other commenters that a lower window in the kitchen would be wonderful (clerestory windows evoke prisons to me 😬). Absent that, a picture of a view with recession into space does wonders. : – )

When neighboring properties make window placement tricky, normal height windows with cafe curtain sheers and/or a greenery screen like bamboo or ivy is a great solution. Sky and leaves are soothing! 🌿😃🌿

Tanslucent window stickers instead of frosted glass are a way to keep window options open and are also nice for kitchen cabinets. Putting them on just the cabinets you end up using for less attractive items keeps things visually open, and with light strips inside, the glow is beautiful! 😃

I could list a dozen other ideas (I love interior design!), but my last one is similar to Alexis's advice in a video ages ago: add a lamp to make things feel homey. 😄 I'd put one to the left of the kitchen seating area to help cozify the place. 💖 Thanks for another great video!

  16. I liked all your ideas to convert it for full time living. I'd use a Murphy bed w/ shelves on the side (like your example) but instead of combining it with a sofa, I'll put a desk. I'll also put some type of divider (maybe a Kallax bookshelf) to separate the bed zone. Cheers!

  17. Install a skylight with built in shade capability that can open for additional ventilation over the kitchen area.

  18. This is so cute, love this studio apt style tiny house, I could live here forever, don't need much space. I love that it has a washer and that it's all one level cause when you're older you don't want to climb steps or ladders. Great place!

  19. You nailed all the "home sweet home" upgrades to be a full time liveable space!!! If you are older and have grandchildren that love to stay with Pawpaw and Grammy, the "living room window" would have to go but a full length of the wall, next to the ceiling narrow window so you could use the sofa Murphy style twin bunk bed unit. Our grandkids would love the fact they disappear during the day!!

  20. This place is ugly and the vibes are off I’m sorry. It’s not very functional at all they could’ve done a lot better maximizing the space. Also lack of windows along with the blackout shades and awful artificial lighting plus the paint color choices are killing me. Terrible design, plus everything looks cheap and like it won’t last.

  21. Love all your recommendations! As a cook, the fridge opening the wrong way is also one of my biggest pet peeves! Yes to a larger window in the kitchen, or an additional one on the left wall. Also, I think a few open cabinets would be great instead of the wall of closed cabinets, especially for BnB, because you could immediately see the nice glassware and dishware.
