Noticed this black dot on the growing leaf of the axillary bud of my monstera variegata. Is it rotting? It hasn't really grown much over the past few weeks either. I'm not sure what's happening or why it stopped growing. I can't scrape it off either.
The cutting has been propagating in water for 2 months now. It gets 4-5 hours of morning light and then sits 8 more hours under a grow light. I top the water off when needed with a spray bottle to get some movement and air into the water. The tradescantia cutting is in there for rooting hormones.
Should I buy some aquatic plant fertalizer? I wanted to wait to repot until this baby leaf has come out but now idk what to do.
