I am not an expert by any means, but I’ve had better luck with these just sticking it straight in the soil. All my water props died and rotted

Sunlight. I’ve never had rooting hormone work. Granted, i tried it on succulents. Just plain water, glass container and sunlight has worked for all my plants ive propogated though. Tomato, basil, succulent.

Fish water. Works better than Additives

Aside from pothos that will root in a mud puddle I suck at water prop. If I’m ever successful I use distilled water and some peroxide.
