What should I do? Do I need to transfer it to its own pot or can I leave it be? If ever, are they connected to each other and do I need to cut somewhere when repotting the baby?
I’m not sure about this plant specifically. But I have an agave that has pups the same way. I waited until the pup looked like it was taking up too much space, then I was able to very easily separate the roots. Ended up giving the pup the main pot and the first agave got a bigger pot. I hope that helped. I think if you wait long enough the roots will easily separate like the agave did.
