My nepenthes has some unexpected tenants


I keep two of my big nepenthes outside in the summer, and over the past week a couple of Carolina wrens moved in, built a nest, and laid some eggs.

  1. Yeah, we’ve had some wrens who insist on nesting in my spider plant every year, but better that than the end of my weed eater where they put it out of commission for weeks!
