I start soaking mine at the first sign of growth. They like to be wet for at least the first month or two here in my collection (SF, zone 10b). Ive started giving smal drinks to the ones who havent woken up too. Some have responded with growth, others are still asleep. A few drops once or twice per week should be enough to get them to respond if they’re close.
