So watch out for those hidden cucumbers because if you miss them, they’ll get huge and turn yellow, after which the plant is going to die.

    Plants don’t die if a cucumber is left on too long. I do it every single year to collect seed and the vine never ever dies. 

    This is a silly mythical wives tale.
