With all the rain, my tumbler got a bit wet. Also probably added too much food scraps vs leaves/paper.
I usually get leaves at a creek in the neighborhood but it gets tedious. So I decided to check Facebook mkrt place and someone just happened to have posted that they had bags of oak leaves.
I grabbed 4 bags. They had more 😂. I didn't feel too bad about driving because it was 5 minutes from my kids daycare.
Am I doing the most? 😂

Nah, once you have a pile that’s already started it’s a bit of a waste of time and effort not to finish it. Once you start spending big money, then you might fall into the sunk cost fallacy lol.
Personally, I spent months waiting for a shredder to hit the ReStore so I could shred cardboard for my pile. I absolutely refused to pay full price, so 3 months and $10.00 later I can spend my summer evenings listening to the sweet sound of cardboard becoming confetti.
