Airplant

Best method to reshape?

Because there are not any good nurseries that sell quality tillandsias near me, almost all of my plants come through the mail (usually Etsy). I just got this plant today. I try to watch the planned delivery date so I can get the plant out of the box and into some water as quick as I can. Since these plants are carefully packaged and in a box sometimes for days—depending on USPS—the leaves can look a little wonky and bent in different directions.

This one isn’t as bad as some, but it does look slightly squished. My question is, what is the best way to help the plant back into a more uniform, natural looking shape? Is it just a matter of time?

This is a Houston Red Princess. If given high light, will it’s slight bit of pinkish tint become more obvious? You can barely see any as of now. Picture doesn’t really show any at all.

Thanks in advance!
