Plant Propagation

Rubber plant propagation gone wrong? HELP!!

I need help!! I’ve been propagating this rubber plant for a month and it grew a tiny root nub so far. But the leaves seem droopy and one of the leaves is starting to yellow. Another leaf was yellowing and fell off. Another leaf fell off but it was perfectly healthy so I decided to try and propagate it separately.

I used to keep it on the floor where sunlight would reach but not as much. So I transferred it to my table which is closer to the window. I figured it might not be getting enough sun.

The temperature in my room also ranges between 24-30°C.

Is there anything I could do to prevent my cutting from shedding its leaves or even dying? Will my cutting last long enough to be transferred into soil?🥹

From someone else’s advice to me: give it plenty of indirect light and warmth and you may have more luck propagating with an opaque glass vs clear. Is the end of it calloused after cutting/before water?
