Plant Propagation

Nodes?

I’m trying to figure out if these cuttings will root, I got these for free and normally do them on much more developed plants where I can tell there is a node. I’ve had these sitting in moss in a Tupperware container for a week and no roots yet but other ones I’ve cut myself have baby roots. I’m wondering if they’ll root at all or if I need to cut higher

They both look like begonias. They should produce roots from the bottom portion of the stem. A lot of varieties actually do not need a node to root. I personally would opt for water propagation of these. You can also just slightly submerge the first node under the water to get roots there too.
